The Mts. Mythen seen from Mt. Wildspitz, a summit done by Eric Maurer on mountain bike

Eric Maurer of Skatetrix Sport Company biked up to Mt. Wildspitz (1580 m) in Switzerland. The three Mts. Mythen tower out of a huge sea of mist. This massif is one of the most prominent landmark of central Switzerland. The downhill from Mt. Wildspitz to lake Aegeri and then back to Zug is a great pleasure for a mountain biker!

Eric Maurer crosses a brook in the high Swiss Alps

Here the proof. Madeleine did this shoot immediately after her diver into the wild and cold water in the high Swiss Alp. Eric Maurer of Skatetrix Sport Company is amazed about her presence of mind to save here Nikon camera. After this intermezzo we finished the crossing of this brook and had then a lot of fun when we talked about the big splash.

Madeleine Bianchi at work after an involuntary bath in very cold water

Madeleine Bianchi of Skatetrix Sport Company
tried to cross the brook! But suddenly a bigger splash. She feel no more ground and do the diver. And believe her this water is very cold. A refreshing experience on a hot summer day. But she saved her precious Nikon camera heroically of a baptism in alpine water. As a professional photographer she started working immediately after this intermezzo. And her soaked cloths become dry by sun and wind.

Madeleine Bianchi takes a shot standing on a plank over wild water in the Swiss Alps

Madeleine Bianchi of Skatetrix Sport Company has full confidence in the plank set over the wild water by Eric. Taking photos standing on a small plank is not so easy. Besides, one easily loses the balance whilst looking through the camera. A fall into the cold water is not advisable here, because its stream is very strong.

Eric Maurer tests the plank to cross wild water in the high Swiss Alps

It holds, the plank! Eric Maurer of Skatetrix Sport Company is doing the selftest on the plank. Now Madeleine and Eric can cross this wild water in the high Swiss Alps. To avoid falling into the brook is strongly recommended. Because this water is very cold and the stream very strong with swirls. And downstream are some cascades!

Mountainbiking - The giant's golf course? No, this is packed hay!

A giant’s golf course? No, this is packed hay! Guess, what’s the weight of such a bale of hay! Between 700 and 900 kilograms as the farmer told me. I found this nice motif on the way up to the Albishorn. The Albishorn lies between lake Zug and lake Zurich in Switzerland.

The magic mountain! It still hides crystals which one finds nowhere else in the world. I should tell where the mountain lies? I never would like to have quarrels with the trolls which guard its treasures!

At last, a rest on a more flat slope. The ascent was very steep. And on ground without way. Over screes, brooks and snow fields. The view rewards for the effort which were necessary to come here up.
